By Mail

Please include your remittance slip from your bill or include your customer
number on your check. Please write your check using blue or black ink.
We do not accept post dated checks, so date your
check the date they are written, not a date in the future.
E-Billing / Paperless Billing
You can receive your statement in an email verses regular mail. Fill out our Contact Form, and check off the "Sign Up for E-Billing".
Automatic Payment
The Northampton Borough Municipal Authority (NBMA) offers its water customers the opportunity to pay your bill via a
debit to a bank account under our AUTO PAY plan. If you enroll in this plan, the amount due on your monthly or quarterly water or water/sewer bill
will be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account on the NBMA due date and your payment will be
transferred electronically to NBMA with NO FEES.
Privacy Notice: Under NBMA's Auto Pay plan, your bank account information is strictly protected.
How it Works: After you complete the Auto Pay enrollment form, we will mail/email a monthly or quarterly invoice for your records
prior to the due date. Mailing a payment will no longer be necessary. On your invoice the
message "AUTO PAY" will appear on your bill as a reminder.
NOTE: You must continue to make payments until "AUTO PAY" appears on your bill!
How to Enroll: If interested in enrollment in AUTO PAY, please read the items listed below and then complete the
Enrollment form and mail it back to us at the address listed above or email the form to service@nbma.org.
Online Bill Payment
You can do an online bill payment 2 ways:
By Credit or Debit card (Effective October 1, 2024, the credit/debit card fee will change from a flat $3.00 to a 3% fee with a minimun of $3.00)
By Checking or Savings account (The current fee is $1.50)

By Online Banking Payment
You arrange to pay our invoice through your banking institution's web site
NOTE: Please allow sufficient time prior to the due date. These payments are made by ACH checks and are mailed to us via USPS. Penalties for late payments due to the mail service will not be removed.
In person
You can pay in person at the NBMA office or put your payment in our drop box (to the right of the front door).
